Excerpt

"Irv pulled the patrol car into the parking lot in front of the restaurant and got out. He walked over to he edge of the bluff and looked down at the river. Spring rains upstream had caused the river to rise a little above normal, and the brown water swirled and eddied below, carrying an occasional log or tree branch with it. In his mind's eye, Irv could see the men in the big canoes of the Lewis and Clark exploration team straining against their oars to make headway against the current. He could see Jean Young's body drifting in the muddy water all the way to where the river made a big loop to the north."

You're second book is a delightful one! The suspense starts with page one and continues to the last page. The characters and place descriptions are so real that you feel you know these people and their town is your town. Just as with Gotcha!, it's so much fun to read, that you hate for the book to end."
